It is the largest and most famous amphitheater in the roman world. This is a sight to behold as it was capable of holding about 50,000 spectators. Its construction began in 72AD and was completed in 80AD. The top of the attic had sails called velarium that played the main role of protecting spectators from the rain as well as the suns heat.
This is a city that has a lot to tell about the lives of people who lived about two thousand years ago. In 79AD, the volcano Vesuvius erupted thus covering the city of Pompeii and preserving its state to this day. It is a very popular tourist destination with a lot to learn from about the history of Italy in general.
Famed for its rugged terrain, this is a small town located on a stretch of coastline on the Afami coast. It is more of the definition of picturesque scenic beauty. With houses scattered from top to bottom down a hillside towards the costs, it is really a place worth visiting.
Leaning tower of Pisa
This world famous tower has a bit of history behind its tilt. Due to poorly laid foundation, the tower begun to sink. About a century after initial construction begun, engineers built higher floors with one side being taller than the other as a compensation for the tilt.
